Issue

the warning above complains that locale de_DE.UTF-8 could not be detected

Solution:

$ sudo locale-gen de_DE.UTF-8

de_DE.UTF-8… done
Generation complete.

$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales

Generating locales…
de_DE.UTF-8… up-to-date
en_US.ISO-8859-1… done
en_US.UTF-8… done
hu_HU.ISO-8859-2… done
